Caption: The above representation may no doubt appear rather on a primitive scale, but still amusement of some kind is naturally looked for, by the Diggers after their days toil, and in consequence of their being fond of patronising places where appearances are little studied, entertainments on the above principle are much in vogue, especially on the newer diggings.
