THE undermentioned prisoners having absconded from their places of residence, all constables and others are hereby required to use their utmost exertions to apprehend and lodge them in safe custody.

1274 William Bradley, alias Matthew Peck, alias Matthew Pike, 4 feet 11 ½, dark brown hair, do. eyes, age 16, a farmer's boy, tried at Salop, in July 1829, sentence 7 years, per Bussorah Merchant, native of Wellington, Salop, absconded from public works Chatworth parish, May 27, 1830. Reward L2.
69 Sarah Jones, 4 feet 10, dark complexion, black hair, hazel eyes, age 26, servant of all-work, tried at Middlesex, in Sept. 1829, sentence life, per Eliza, native of St. Andrew's Holborn, absconded from F. C. Darling, Esq. 1st instant.

723 William Christmas, absconded on the evening of the 2nd instant from a constable, was apprehended the same evening about ten o'clock.

763 James Williams, convicted July 31, 1829, before P. A. Mulgrave, Esq.
28 James Vallely, convicted August 24, 1829, before P. A. Mulgrave, Esq.
582 John Morton, convicted September 8, 1829, before James Gordon, Esq.
800 William Sainter, convicted September 8, 1829, before James Gordon, Esq.
437 Thomas Lawton, convicted September 8, 1829, before James Gordon, Esq.
986 William Stewart, convicted September 8, 1829, before James Gordon, Esq.
739 Samuel Cowden, convicted September 8, 1829, before James Gordon, Esq.
644 Francis Hemmings, and
135 William Powers - These two last-mentioned men were apprehended at Launceston on the 21st Sept. 1829, by Alexander Cumberbeach, John Ashton, and Andrew Rhind, and were forwarded to Hobart-town for examination, and on the way escaped from the constable who had them in charge, and were afterwards apprehended in the District of Oatlands, by William Prior.
