NSW Absconded Prisoners (Convicts) List - 12 October 1816

PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE,
Sydney, October 12, 1816.

THE under-mentioned Prisoners having absented themselves from their respective Employments, and some of them at large with false Certificates, all Constables and others are hereby required to use their utmost Exertions in apprehending and lodging them in safe Custody.

Thos. [Thomas] Ward, from India, Government servant to Mr. Miller, settler, Lane Cove District.

John Murphy, per ship Fanny, 27 years of age, a waterman, 5 feet 3 inches high, native of London, yellow complexion, black hair, hazle eyes, tried at the Old Bailey, Nov. 1814. for life, Government servant to Michael M 'Cabe, settler, Concord District.
