By the prisoner's confession, it was set forth, that he had worked 24 days for one Robison of Richmond, and he was particular in citing times and circumstances, because, forsooth, he had a claim against the Enid Robison of 2s. per day, in Spanish dollars at 4s. 4d. according to agreement. This story being concluded, a claim of another description was instituted against the said Robison, prefaced with the words "New South Wales, to wit," agreeable to the Act of Council, in that case made and provided; the prisoner to be returned to Parramatta, to be dealt with for absconding.

John Douglass, free, charged with having in his possession two sacking bags, and a quantity of flour contained in the same, the property of Mr. James Kelly, sen. of Portland-head; committed for trial.
