Perth Magistrate's Court - February 1835


MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Before the Hon. P. Brown, Esq., and A. Collie, Esq, J.s P.

James Somerville, and James Ryan, privates in H. M.'s 21st Regt., were committed for trial, on a charge of stealing, from the Government stores, eight pounds of pork, by removing the bars from the grating communicating from the guard-room with the provision store.

Ann Corroll, was brought before the sitting Magistrates, charged with an assault upon the person of Ann Higgs. The assault being fully proved, the defendant was fined 5s., and was ordered to pay all expences.
