Kisses Biscuits (1921)


Kisses.

Two eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. sugar
quarter-cupful milk
half-cupful cornflour
teaspoonful baking powder
enough flour to make a stiff dough

Beat the eggs, butter, and sugar together, and the cornflour and the milk, and finally the flour with the baking powder. Drop in teaspoonfuls on a greased oven shelf, and bake in a fairly quick oven until pale brown. Stick together in pairs with jam.
