To Remove a Vinegar Stain from a White Crepe-de-Chene Blouse.
Try pouring warm water through the stain from a height, and if that is not effective rub the spot on both sides with a little baking soda, leave it for an hour, then pour warm water through it, afterwards laying the stained part on a clean cloth and patting it gently with another clean cloth to press the water out of it.
Gum-Water Stain.
Try soaking the stained part in kerosene, and exposing it to the sun and air for several days, keeping the spot moistened with kerosene meanwhile. Then wash and boil in the usual way, and if the stain has not quite disappeared repeat the process.
