How to Clean Suede Gloves 1921

To Clean Suede Gloves.

Put some bran in the oven in a basin, and remove it when hot. Put the glove on the hand and place it in the hot bran, which should be rubbed well over every part, and then brush the glove with a perfectly clean white brush. The warmth of the bran, added to the friction, removes any dirt and grease, but the gloves should not be allowed to become very soiled, as far better results are obtained by frequent applications than by allowing the gloves to get really dirty.
